Great Coffee. Real Roots.

Kia ora from Ōtautahi Christchurch — we’re Max, Gess, and our kids, Milena and Theo, the family behind KPO Coffee Co.

Our story stretches from Aotearoa to Brazil, built on a love for coffee, culture, and connection.

Our mission is simple: Deliver the freshest, fully traceable, and never pretentious Coffee right to your front door. Just high-quality beans, grown with care, and roasted to bring out their best.

Sustainably Sourced

We only buy from growers who are paid fairly, treated with respect, and supported to keep producing exceptional coffee, season after season.

Fair wages, responsible farming, and quality at every step come at a cost — and we believe it’s worth every cent.

Because our enjoyment of coffee shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet, or the people and communities that grow it.

Exceptional Coffee, Plain Packaging

At KPO Coffee Co., we believe great coffee doesn’t need flashy packaging to stand out.

Our coffee comes in simple Detpak paper bags — free from plastic and stickers, and intentionally kept colour-free to cut back on unnecessary waste.

While these bags are recyclable in Australia, recycling options here in New Zealand are still limited. We’re upfront about this and always looking for better ways to reduce our impact.

Simplicity is part of our promise: clean, honest packaging that lets the coffee speak for itself.

People may disappear, but the land remains.
